The Tiger’s Pen is designed for start-ups looking for investment, and some Tigers to guide, advise and invest. Thus far, The Tiger’s Pen has helped a few businesses flourish to meet their full capacity. This year, investment is increasing with up to a capital of £5,000 available for start-ups who pitch their ideas. This opportunity is for incredible energetic entrepreneurs to take the reins of their business. The jungle is alive with fresh prospects and with new investor Tigers requesting to join, keep your ears peeled for their roars.

In September, 2022 the new TIGER'S PEN website will launch and this will have helpful tips and support on how to pitch to investors, and as part of your £375+VAT training day, you'll also be given the opportunity to test your pitch to an actual investor face to face as part of your training, this will make it easier for you going into the LIVE pitch on September 28th, 2023 when you pitch for up to £5K investment, invaluable mentoring and access to the wild card prize. (Best Pitch of the Day.) which is donated by Simon Rand of Kuuleats Local, a very successful entrepreneur in Sussex.
Your company must be LIMITED and it must of been trading for up to three years, as you may be expected to give away a few shares in your company as an equity stake at the show. Entry is £375+VAT for the 2023 edition being hosted in Brighton, East Sussex, UK.

Any business deal agreed on the day is an unwritten agreement that depends on due diligence checks, and relies on the intergrity of both investor and the startup to freely enter the transaction and be fully committed to seeing it through. However, the deal is solely between the Tiger and the entrepreneur and after additional meetings, if an agreement cannot be reached, neither party is legally obliged to complete the deal. (Refunds are NOT given.)
